It's a bit warm today. How about a nice salad?

Fennel and Fruilano Salad
Chop fennel bulb into bite-sized pieces; discard the stalks but retain the fronds. Slice a red bell pepper into thin strips. Cube Fruilano cheese (a mild, sweet Italian cheese) and queso blanco (a dry white South America cow's milk cheese similar in texture but not taste to feta). Dress with extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, salt, fresh black pepper, fresh white pepper, basil, oregano.

Garlic Crostini
Slice stale bread and dress with extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, basil, salt, white pepper. Toast.

Fava Butter
Pureé fava beans with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, salt, fresh black pepper, garam masala, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder.
