Naturally, one thinks of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, but Fat Albert is also the name of a small blimp flown by the U.S. Government, tethered to a base on Cudjoe Key in the Florida Keys.

Fat Albert is used for several purposes, including radar for aircraft and boat traffic (especially for drug enforcement) and weather. The blimp is also used to broadcast "TV Marti," a U.S. television station targeted toward an audience in Cuba.

Actually there are two Fat Alberts, one on the ground while the other is in the air.
