One of The Twelve Swords.

The Sword of Vengeance
Symbol: a bullseye target

Farslayer is perhaps the most deadly of the Twelve. When its bearer wishes someone dead, with all of his heart, Farslayer will fly out of his hands and bury its blade in the center of its target. Often a short twirling dance is done, chanting the words, "For thy heart, for thy heart, who hast wronged me!" There appears to be no limit on Farslayer's ability to kill, as evidenced by an incident where it was successfully cast against a man already dead and buried.

Farslayer howls across the world
For thy heart, for thy heart, who hast wronged me!
Vengeance is his who casts the blade
Yet he will in the end no triumph see.

If one intends to use Farslayer, one should be sure your victim is not in posesion of Shieldbreaker (which would destroy Farslayer or worse yet Doomgiver (which would send cause it to target the thrower rather than the intended victim). Aanother problem with Farslayer is that if the victim has a friend handy they can send it straight back (if they know who used it)
