A movie by Werner Herzog, also known as The Mystery of Kaspar Hauser. I like this title better.

It's based on the true story of the discovery, education and downfall of Kaspar, and stars Bruno S, who does a fantastic job, as always, of appearing completely bewildered by the way the world comports itself (on the whole, rottenly).

It's filmed as beautifully as any Herzog film, especially the part with the circus/freak show (what film is complete without a circus, i ask?).
