Self-deprecating protagonistress of Charles Dickens' (IMHO) greatest novel, Bleak House, Ms. Summerson is one of the author's most relatable creations -- verily, one of Literature's most relatable -- and certainly his most fully-realized, what with the depth and feeling he manages to portray.
