Lead character in "The Crow". He used to be a guitarist in a band. (the lines "It can't rain all the time..." are from a song his group supposedly recorded). Eric and his fiance Shelly Webster were brutually murdered by thugs, on devil's night. A year after his death he is called back by a crow, as a spirit guide, to avenge Shelly's rape and murder. It is also his job to bring some closure and healing to Sarah, a young girl Shelly somewhat took under her wing. After the murderers find themselves murdered (in their own personal styles, no less), Eric is finally allowed to pass on for good, and be with his beloved once again.
