basically, the idea as described to me by a friend is this : 'a crazed director from some arab country rounded up a bunch of people, took them out to the desert, fed them large amounts of lysergic acid diethylamide, and filmed it.'

he also claims that a few members of the cast vanished and were not listed in the credits.
