The nasally congested child character performed by the talented Lily Tomlin on the 1970's hit television comedy Laugh In. Seated in an oversized rocking chair, Edith Ann talked to the audience about topics that might normally seem mundane to grown-ups. It was her precocious, matter-of-fact delivery paired with her childlike mannerisms which endeared her to the public. Every segment ended with her stating, "And that's a fact!" and then blowing raspberries.
