Second baseman for the Cleveland Indians and San Francisco Giants in the late 1970's and early 1980's. His real claim to fame is that even though he played 12 major league seasons and attained 3,379 at bats, he hit exactly one home run! Therefore, I propose a new baseball statistic in his honor or dishonor as the case may be: The Kuiper Line. After any player achieves his first Major League round tripper, he has reached the Kuiper Line. After all why should Kuiper be ignored when Mario Mendoza has been immortalized with The Mendoza Line.
