A great actor who the public really hasn't recognized. I really enjoyed his role as Buck Swope in P. T. Anderson's Boogie Nights. But he really caught my attention in Steven Soderbergh's Out of Sight. He played Maurice 'Snoopy' Miller. George Clooney and Cheadle exchange several great lines in a never back down fashion. After noticing him in these two movies, I look for his name now. He has a major role in Soderbergh's new film Traffic and has been cast in Soderbergh's remake of Ocean's Eleven. With some help of the IMDb, I noticed Cheadle played roles in several other movies I've enjoyed: Colors, Hamburger Hill, Moving Violations, Rosewood, Bulworth, and Roadside Prophets. Some of other recent work can be seen in The Rat Pack(HBO), The Family Man, and Mission to Mars. Cheadle acts with charisma and credibility, something great in the art of film.
