Long, Long running radio show on Radio 4, now presented by Sue Lawley. Also presnetd by Roy Plomley and Michael Parkinson at various times. 'By the Sleepy Lagoon' by Eric Coats is the distinctive tune that screams Radio 4. The concept of the show is for the interviewer to ask the interviewee what records they would take with them if they were to be marooned on a desert island. The interviewee is asked about what significance the songs mean to them and reveals something about their personality.
