"Der Grüne Punkt" is a
packaging recycling and reuse program implemented in parts of
Europe. Packaging accounts for 50% of
volume and 30% of weight on average for most
consumer products. The "Der Grüne Punkt" program allows
consumers to return their
packaging to
manufacturers for
recycling or reuse.
