A libertarian economist, the son of libertarian economist Milton Friedman, David Friedman is the author of books such as The Machinery of Freedom: Guide to a Radical Capitalism (one of the most famous texts on anarcho-capitalism), Hidden Order: The Economics of Everyday Life. He's also a recreational medievalist associated with the SCA, and has written controversial things about government, economics, and Iceland. His most famous work says government is unnecessary.
