Scottish Formula One racing car driver. Currently racing for the Mclaren team with Mika Hakkinen.

Born on the 27th March, 1971 in Dumfries. Grew up in Twynholm in Galloway, South-West Scotland. David first started racing in 100cc go-karts, moving rapidly through different classes of motor racing. Debuted in the Spanish Barcelona Formula One race in 1994, and won his first Formula One in Estoril, Portugal in 1995.

This node is in appreciation of David's latest F1 win in Magny-Cours in France. David showed that he could out-drive and out-class arch-rival German Michael Schumacher in a thrilling race.
