Dark Chess is a variant of the traditional chess game.

The rules:

  • You can only see your own pieces and spaces where they can move to. All other spaces are invisible.
  • The object is to capture the opponent's King.
  • There are no check or checkmate conditions. A King can move into and out of check freely. You may not be able to see enough of the board to know if you are moving into check.
  • Castling and en passant captures are allowed.
  • Everything else is the same as normal chess.
