Drag queen singer doing guest vocals on Joe Jackson's Night And Day II. Apparently Joe "discovered" Dale after trying to get Jimmy Somerville to do the vocals on the song "Glamour And Pain" and having that fall through.

Here's the funny part: Dale DeVere sounds a lot like Joe Jackson singing in falsetto, and the picture in the liner notes of the man in drag, well, pretty sure, again, Joe Jackson. The consensus among the mailing list denizens is that Dale DeVere is really Joe, and he's just having a little fun with all of us.
