The final full-length album recorded by the legendary Japanese band X Japan, Dahlia took three years to record (July 1993 - July 1996) and is considered a classic of both J-rock and rock music in general. It has the slickest, most produced sound of all of X Japan's albums, and veers more toward their romantic side than their speed metal image of the late 1980s. It is epic, beautiful, and incredibly dramatic.
