A music recording studio based in London, it specialises in bringing new bands into the music scene but normally once a band's reputation increases, the band generally gets signed up by a larger music recording company. Nevertheless recording companies such as this play an important part in the music industry. They have bought many artists into the music industry however generally it is harder to find on a band's bio due to DJEC recordings generally becoming involved early in a band's career. Main pet project at this time would be Autopsy which many bigger companies are rumoured to be considering signing.
The company was first established in 1984 and has continued to bring about the best new bands, originally it signed mainly indie bands but now it has more broad music scene and has recently started signing new metal bands. At this current time it has about 15 bands but as they get signed by bigger companies, DJEC recordings continues to sign the unknown bands.
