The generic name to which advertisements are sent, to guarantee that they will not be marked Return to Sender because they have the wrong name on them. When I was young, I always got excited when this mail came, considering that I was a "current resident" of my house. My parents never got mad when I opened it, just as long as I didn't actually intend to buy any of the crap that was advertised.

"Current Resident" appears above the street address on the envelope or card. Some other content-free names on advertising include "Our Friends At (address)", "Valued Customer At (address)", and "Pet Owner At (address)".
