Actually, it is extremely similar to chicken in taste. It's slightly more fatty, but that's about it. A bit of a rip-off as far as 'exotic tastes' go.

Crocodile farming is legal in Australia, and the same animals that provide tourists with crocodile-skin belts and jackets often end up on the dinner plate as well. It's morally defendable, since the farms never take animals from the wild, and guarantee the crocodile's future as well. It's still a bit strange eating an endangered species, though...
