In He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Cringer is Prince Adam's pet and best friend. He's a green tiger with orange stripes. As his name describes, he cowers at everything and prefers to hide somewhere no one can find him. However, when him and Prince Adam change, he becomes Battle-Cat, a complete opposite of Cringer.
