The racing version of the C5 corvette, built for the LeMans racing series. This car is remakably similar to the production C5 with the same frame, engine block and general layout. It uses carbon fiber body pannels instead of fiber glass to save weight, and the engine is bored out to 427 cubic inches and produces a prodigious 700 something horsepower, compared the the 350hp of the stock engine. The shocks are also coil overs instead of transverse leaf.
