A constellation meaning "Southern Crown". It is near the bottom of Sagittarius. In most legends it was a crown, but Ptolemy called it wreath, such as those worn by champions at the ancient Olympics. The stars themselves (though faint and unnamed) are easily noticeably in their half-circle shape.
