Made his name'n'fame'n'fortune in Nashville (I'll bet he drank it all away, in the finest tradition), as part of the pantheon of country music stars. His "Twitty City" complex was sold to Trinity Broadcasting Network, where they have recording and TV studios, a church, and an auditorium.
