A fantastic food substance for those times when you want to eat something that tastes light but has a shitload of calories. Great stuff if you're on the track team, little use to dieters.

Mix miso paste with a small amount of water, first, so it actually dissolves instead of getting lumpy. Then add the rest of the water, the coconut milk, and the rice. When the rice is about half cooked (10 min or so), add the pepper and ginger. When the rice is done, add the peas, sausage, and scallions, and keep cooking it for another five minutes or so. This should result in the peas being crisp and the rice being kinda squishy.
