The US press's corruption of what is correctly called the Channel Tunnel, which connects
Dover in the
United Kingdom to
Calais in
France by high-speed rail. The
Eurostar passenger train service goes through it en route from
London to
Paris and
Brussels.
"The Chunnel" is also an interesting club venue in Vauxhall near Albert Embankment, and home to some interesting hardcore house nights.
