The Cholmondeley Awards for Poets are administered by the Society of Authors. Established in 1966 in order to "recognise the achievement and distinction of individual poets", the awards are named in honour of the late Dowager Marchioness of Cholmondeley. The award is currently worth £2,000 to each individual and has been since 1988.
