Cer is the Greek Goddess of violent death, She is the daughter of Nyx, Goddess of Night. Cer, or Ker is also used as the name of any malevolent ghost.

Cer's siblings are: Moros, Thanatos, Hypnos, Oneiros, Momus, Oizys, Nemesis, Apate, Philotes, Geras, Eris, and the Fates Clotho, Laechisis, and Atropos.
