Carl Hill is a character from the movie Re-Animator. Hill is a doctor who teaches the students of Miskatonic University. He has quite a disliking for Herbert West, but recognizes the genius of his work (after he sees the effect). He seems to have some powers of hypnotism, as he shows control over Herbert and the dean, plus many of the re-animated dead. While attempting to steal Herbert's research, Hill is decapitated. Unfortunately Herbert's scientific curiosity gets the better of him and he re-animates the head and the body. After his beheading Hill continues his pursuit of the dean's daughter, Meg, by kidnapping her and doing things that a severed head really shouldn't.
