Bialbog, Bielbog, Bylebog.

Slavic god of the waxing year.

Every year, at Koliada, Bialobog would defeat his dark brother and opposite, Czarnobog, to take his place as the ruler of the waxing year. They would battle again at Kupalo, where Czarnobog would be victorious.

Bialobog, the white god, was the deity of happiness, luck and order. Some scholars have also suggested he may be another manifestation of Dazbog, the sun god. He would appear as a fair-haired, blue-eyed youth or as an old man with a long white beard, dressed in white and carrying a staff. He appeared only by day and often assisted travellers lost in dark forests.
