Sold in a corked glass bottle, Butterbeer is pleasant-tasting, and due to its incredibly low alcohol content, it may safely and legally be purchased and consumed by any wizard of any age. However, due to what seems to be a very low biological tolerance to alcohol, Butterbeer is hard booze to house-elves.
