The current name for the brewery known as Budweiser prior to the communist occupancy of the
Czech Republic. The Anheuser-Busch brewery took the opportunity to use the name Budweiser during the time period that this brewery was not participating in the capitalist market. The international lawsuit concerning this matter was settled out of court between the two breweries.
