Located near the Ohio State University campus, and a convenient 20 feet from my apartment, the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe offers a variety of traditional and regional american cuisine with a Buckeye theme. The resteraunt is decorated with Ohio State jersey's, pictures, trophies, and lots of other memorabilia donated by former players and the university (they've even got Archie Griffin's Heisman trophies). It's a nice theme, upscale casual with good lighting and an open layout. They've even got a game room in the back. Of course a football saturday is the best time to eat there, however they do not take reservations on game days and it's almost impossible to get in.

Food wise, there is a lot of good stuff. I recommend the crabcakes as an appatizer, they are excellent. Get yourself a tall 23 oz beer and keep the glass, yay! They've got a wide selection of food including steaks, seafood, and pastas. Most of it seems more southern influenced to me, which is perhaps why I like it so much. This is also a great place to take the family. Expect $15-20 per meal.
