If you come across a writeup with misspellings, formatting problems or corrupt links please post a writeup here with the node title hard-linked. If there is more than one writeup in the node make sure to point out which writeup you refer to. Please don't bother reporting HTML problems with Webster 1913 definitions.

It would be helpful if you would first send a private message to the author of the incorrect/broken writeup asking him/her to fix the problem. If the author hasn't been logged in for some time then don't bother - just add a writeup here.

Webster 1913's /msgs are checked from time to time, so you can message him(?) directly about problems with definition writeups.

"Take these broken nodes
And learn to fly again
And learn to live so free..."

Staff members, please use this writeup to submit your broken-ness for disposal by qualified node technicians. Please sign and date your entries either openly or in an HTML comment.

When one gets a 'Server Error' underneath is the message 'An error has occured. Please contact the site administrator with the Error Id. Thank you.' There is no 'the site administrator' that I know of. E2 Bugs until recently said 'don't post server errors here', which has now been corrected by Oldminer. Should the server error message be corrected to point to E2 bugs ?

update 25th november 2010: erm. anyone even checking reports here?

update 7th november 2011: ...

  1. In the parenthetical aside in The Tanakh, "bible" should be capitalized. In Gartogg's w/u in that node, Christians should be capitalized in the first sentence. In the third sentence, "hebrew" should be capitalized. The second paragraph should end with a period and not a semi-colon.  The third paragraph should end with a period. In the fourth paragraph's second sentence, the first semi-colon should be a period. The fourth paragraph ends with "are" twice; it could maybe use a colon.

Two paragraphs after the first set of bullets, the comma inside the parenthentical aside is out of place. Two sentences later, "large" is misspelled. The last sentence of that paragraph should have a colon instead of a semi-colon. In the note following the second set of bullets, "consistency" is misspelled. The following paragraph should end with a colon and not a semi-colon. In the third bulleted list, the note on Psalms needs an "it" before "relates". In the note on Job, there should be a "the" instead of "to" before "protaganist". In the note on Song of Songs, "Gods" should be in the singular posessive form. In the note on Lamentations, "poems" needs a "p". In the note on Esther, "jews" should begin with a capital letter.

In the second to last word of the first sentence of that last paragraph, 'bible" should be capitalized. In the following sentence, "biblical" and "jewish" should begin with capital letters. In the last sentence, "it" should appear after "though" and "available" is misspelled after "currently".
