British Dietetic Association or BDA is the British Trades Union and professional association that represents dietitians. Its membership of some 4,500 (of over 95% are women) are mainly employed in the British National Health Service, a few are in private practice, and mostly holding a qualification such as a degree or post graduate diploma recognised for state registration by the Health Professions Council.
