The Bomarc Missile was the world's first long-range anti-aircraft missile and the first missile that Boeing mass produced. Between 1957 and 1964 Boeing manufactured 700 Bomarc missles. Bomarc missiles were retired from service in the 1970s.

The Bomarc missile used a solid propellant rocket for takeoff and a ramjet for cruising.

The Bomarc missiles top speed was over Mach 2.5 and it had a range of 400 Miles.
