Lenny Kravitz--commercial jingle writer who thinks he's Jimi Hendrix

Walter Mosley--novelist "Easy Rawlins Mysteries"

Arik Marshall--guitarist, formerly of the Red-Hot Chili Peppers (for about 10 minutes)

Slash--musician, formerly of Guns-n-Roses

James McBride--author of "The Color of Water"
