British TV Show starring Rowan Atkinson, Tony Robinson, Hugh Laurie and a galaxy of insignificant guest appearances. Helen Atkinson Wood wasn't bad. Miranda Richardson was a delight as ever. Warren Clarke is God.

The show was written by Ben Elton - the Man from Auntie, Start, Gridlock, This Other Eden, Popcorn, Inconceivable - and Richard Curtis - Four Weddings and a Wedding, Notting Hill. Generally agreed to be not as funny as Blackadder II or Blackadder Goes Forth.
