Steve Burns coined this name (and concept, likely) for a hypothetical megascale
electrical engineering device built around the interstellar
plasma flow between unequal size
stars in a
binary system. The hollow tube-like device would use charged
plasma particles flowing through it to produce
electricity.
The word binerator is a glom of binary system and generator.
