If someone from Utah tells you they own a BMW, they aren't talking about a German luxury car. Most likely they are referring to a Dodge Caravan, one of those gas guzzling station wagons from the seventies with an extra row of seats in the back facing backwards, or a Chevy Suburban. Such large vehicles are necessary since the Mormon religion advocates breeding like rabbits, and the families can get to upwards of 12 children. (I know of two examples personally.)
