When something happens, not so pleasant, you can always say,

"Well, its better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick" or "That's better than a slap in the belly with a wet fish".

I said it out loud to myself tonight when I log in and see my stumble drunk poem on the HOME PAGE of the site.

A bit of a shock and quite unlike anything I expected, like having my soiled laundry hung out to dry as art.

I feel all this fucking pressure. I couldn't even bring myself to get smashed again tonight, fearing yet another catastrophe would await me in the morn.
