A Bellinghamster (or "Hamster" for short) is a person who grew up in the
city of
Bellingham, Washington, or has been
resident there for at least two years. Bellinghamsters are a unique group of people, having lived in a highly
magically active environment for quite some time, as well as the
cultural impact of living in a small but quite
liberal community that throws
interesting parties.
A Simon's Rock Improbability Field surrounds most Bellinghamsters, despite the fact that almost none have attended Simon's Rock College. This suggests that Bellingham has developed its own unique improbability field.
