The Soul Side release from 1989 which was a 7" single that I think was pressed up for tour but has stayed in print.

A clear progression although this was probably recorded shortly after Trigger LP. There is a lot more going on in the guitar work and the vocals more expressive and mesmerizing. This isn't the clearest production work in the world but, Hey! , it's a vinyl single.

The packaging is very simple and basic with a bright yellow sun and the Soulside logo. Classy.

The Songs

  1. Bass
  2. 103
  3. Otherside - a live track that wasn't released on anything. I'm not going to try to guess all of the lyrics. Decent recording but this song is good enough to warrant a studio version which I'm sad that they never had the chance to do.

released by Dischord Records.
