The Barbapapas were a family (headed by Barbapapa and Barbamama) of playdough-like creatures who could change themselves in to any shape they wanted (though remaining the same colour and consistency). The barbafamily were all different colours and had lots of interesting gadgets in their house powered by bicycles made of family members. A surreal and very popular series of children's books.
