What's pretty much the last thing you expect to see when you turn on the boob tube to professional wrestling?

That's right, a hug.

It almost never happens, and for good reason: it's not exactly what you expect two sworn enemies to do when they're in the ring fighting each other!  You'll normally only see a hug after two babyfaces (good guys) fight each other in the same match, which is rare.

After a hardfought match, the guy who lost will normally glare at the winner, riling up the crowd and teasing a heel turn.  After a staredown that sometimes lasts up to five full minutes for best effect, the two guys will hug in the middle of the ring.  The rare show of sportsmanship will normally elicit a great reaction from the fans.

Hence, the Babyface Embrace.
