Their music is composed of typical kpop music, with ballads and dance music incorporating elements of Hip Hop, Rap, Techno, Dance, R&B and Pop music. The rapping of the group is done by its leader, Kim E Z.

At first, the original members of the group used an image composed of wannabe hardcore clothing, sweat pants, hockey gloves and backpacks. Compared to the feminine stylings of Fin.K.L. and S.E.S., they bombed and suddenly faded into the sunset. Their first single, "Muh Ri Ha Neun Nal" bombed.

In their second cd, a lady named Lee Gai and Sim Eun Jin replaced two members that left. They also abandoned their previous image and went for the baby doll and cutesy image. That worked better and they found their initial success. While they did not achieve no. 1 status in the Korean music charts, they did find success in the masses. Their hits included "Ya Ya Ya" and "Change".

Yoon Eun Hye joined the group before the third cd, replacing Lee Gai. Here is when they reached their first hit, while replacing their previous image of baby doll girls to mature, sexy women. Their third cd, "Come Come Come Baby", gave them the mainstream appeal that they achieved and many placed them in the same place as Fin.K.L. and S.E.S.. Their hits from this Cd included the very dancy "Get Up", "Killer" and the ballad "Missing You" (A personal favorite).

Before their fourth album they conducted a tour of China and even sang the theme for the animated series, Gundress. Finally, they came out with their fourth cd, "Why", and they again changed their image to be even more mature, but still emitting their sexiness in a different way. Their hits from this cd included the latino beat influenced "Why", and the bass blasting "Bae Shin" (Or Betrayal if I translated it properly).

Their unique musical stylings, in conjunction with their eye candy factor give them high success. They are all attractive (with Kan Mi Youn being a personal favorite) and they have marketed themselves highly after their second cd success. They have marketed themselves in using their images in various commercials and products. As a result, they have come under fire as being a corporate tool. But simply, if one looks for good dance music and nice ballads in a korean music group, one should consider them.
