Babinski sign

Upgoing toes on stroking of the bottom of the foot. A sign of dysfunction of upper motor neuron fibres (i.e. an upper motor neuron lesion).

This sign was described in 1896 by Joseph Babinski, a famous student of (the even more famous) Jean-Marie Charcot.
