Babbit is the bat-like creature which serves as the peanut gallery/narrator/announcer/etc. in Kodomo no Omocha. It is white with black wings and a warm, happy heart emblazoned on its chest. It doesn't seem to be all bat, maybe it's a cat bat or rabbit bat (as the name would imply) hybrid. At the beginning of each episode Babbit does the recap and introduces the players. In one episode, regular Babbit is accompanied by American Babbit who is decked out in fancy cowboy duds and speaks American-accented Japanese.
