BIRC, A.K.A. Bisual IRC, is a groovy IRC client for the Win32 "platform" designed after the amazing ViRC. The developer of BIRC, Jesse McGrew (A.K.A. Mr2001) has been given the source of ViRC, and will develop that instead of BIRC. However, BIRC is planned to be open-sourced, and will thus possibly continue to be developed. BIRC's features include:

• DCC/TDCC support (chat and send)
• Server list dialog
• Powerful object-oriented scripting language
• Profiles, as in ViRC or Pirch (currently a smidge basic)
• Logging
• Notify list
• Proxy support
