A sub-label of Profan.

There is no clear style on Auftrieb. It seems to be an outlet for projects not fitting on Profan, which vary from resembling rave stuff from '92 (Oktoberfest EP) to hard filter-mayhem.

As usual, most of the releases are made by Wolfgang Voigt himself.

German for "lift", the force applied to a body with lower density than a surrounding gaseous or liquid medium, and also for the force a suitably aerodynamic object (like a plane) experiences under the right conditions.
